Prof. Dr. Alexander Kuhn began his chemistry studies and got master degree at the Technical University Munich. He got PhD at the Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal in Bordeaux and did Post-doc at the California Institute of Technology. He got the fellowship of the “Alexander von Humboldt foundation” for the post-doc. In 2000, he was full professor at ENSCBP and he was promoted to exceptional class professor in 2012. Now, he is distinguished fellow of the French Chemical Society and senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF). he is the treasurer and board member of the International Bioelectrochemical Society, editorial board of the journal Scientific Reports, and advisory board of several international journals. He has more than 180 publications in international journals with a total citations >5700, such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Funct. Mater., Nature Comm., NanoLett., etc.. He obtain the ERC Advanced grant for the project ELECTRA in 2017.
