  报告摘要:The Skyrme crystals are periodic, infinitely extended solutions which can be used to describe isospin-symmetric infinite nuclear matter. However, isospin asymmetry must be taken into account for a more accurate description of matter inside neutron stars. In the first part of the talk we will present the results of including the symmetry energy effects via the canonical quantization of collective coordinates of the Skyrme crystals, which also allows us to constrain the parameters of the model with measurements from nuclear experiments. In the second part we will explain the problem of describing the crust of NS with Skyrme crystals, and how a new set of periodic solutions, combined with quantum corrections, can help to solve this problem. Besides, the existence of these new solutions points towards the presence of a transition between different solutions near the crystal energy minimum.
